According to the lawsuit, Twitter failed to pay dozens of small businesses and agencies that had contracted to provide advertising for the social media platform. This is the latest in a long line of controversies for Twitter, which has been criticised for its failure to pay its bills on time. Whether you use Twitter or not, this case is a warning to all small businesses that should exercise caution when contracting with the company.
